Meet Jessica Labesehr
Most companies chasing AI-readiness are optimising for speed. Jessica Labesehr makes the case that the real competitive edge is judgment — knowing when to slow down to speed up — because people can only adapt so fast before they run into our evolutionary biological limits. She's spent almost three decades studying how minds actually build that capacity.
Trained as a Social Scientist and UX (User Experience) designer, Jessica spent four years designing products for award-winning, fast-pivoting fintech and travel companies, including Booking.com, before a later stint at an AI startup in Portugal taught her something most insiders will only admit privately: nobody actually knows where this technology is headed. Which is exactly why judgment matters.
Today she runs two ventures: 2° Turn®, her speaking and masterclass practice, built around her signature philosophy that small, deliberate shifts create outsized impact and Alma Humans, a botanical skin and haircare brand built on a simple premise: despite our obsession with modernising, we, too, are nature.
Her work is informed by the same instinct — notice where a system, or a person, is under pressure, and find the small turn that sets it on a new course.
Her edge goes deeper than credentials. A first trip to India at 16 sparked almost three decades of mind-body study, and what it taught her wasn't abstract. Real presence, she found, is a practical skill. The ability to notice what's actually beneficial in the moment rather than what's merely habitual. That's the fluency she brings into every talk: zooming out to see clearly under pressure, when everyone else in the room is speeding up.
